Removes free, bound & emulsified water, for water-free fuel
When water enters the fuel tank, whether that's through condensation or ingress from a crack in the fill cap, the fuel can start to form diesel bug sludge. This sludge can block filters, pumps and injectors, cause loss of engine power, difficulty getting up to speed, expensive fuel system corrosion and poor fuel economy. All of these issues can result in expensive repairs and equipment not performing as it should. Can you take the risk of not dealing with diesel's biggest problem - water?
Aquafighter has a range of high-quality fuel tank water absorbers that remove both free, bound and emulsified water from fuel, keeping it water-free at all times.
CTS is the UK agent for Aquafighter, meaning we can offer our Middle Eastern customers competitive pricing and technical support whenever needed.
Unlike other absorbers on the market which only remove the free water, Aquafighter is able to remove all types:
Free water in diesel fuel is visible as a layer of separated water in the fuel tank that has sunk to the bottom, creating a visible layer of water under the fuel. This is where diesel bugs often grows.
Suspended water (sometimes known as bound water) is where the water has bound to the fuel molecules making it appear cloudy. As the diesel becomes full of suspended water, it drops to the bottom of the tank and becomes free water.
Emulsified water is where water becomes completely emulsified turning the diesel milky in appearance. This can happen when fuel passes through pumps and filters, under pressure changes, agitation, and heavy cavitation.
For fuel tanks with a capacity of up to 150 litres and with openings between 3.8cm and 9cm. For agricultural and plant equipment tanks.
For fuel tanks with a capacity of up to 500 litres and with openings between 3.8cm and 9cm. For boats, storage tanks up to 1500l and genset belly tanks.
For fuel tanks with a capacity of up to 10000 litres and with openings from 9cm to 20cm. For fuel storage tanks up to 20,000l.
Capacity of 100ml. Requires a dipstick pipe opening of at least 3.8cm. To test for water in agricultural and plant equipment tanks.
For fuel tanks with capacity between 500-5000 litres with access of at least 12cm. For bulk fuel storage tanks up to 10,000l.
For fuel tanks with a capacity between 5000-10000 litres with the access of at least 16cm. For bulk fuel storage tanks up to 10,000l.
